It wasn’t too long ago that I had the kids, husband, and a nice suburban house. I guess it has been a long time, 20 years in fact. All that’s left is me, my kids have grown up and have lives of their own and my husband has since passed.
I was a teacher for many years, changing the lives of kids every years in my classroom. I love running into my kids all over town, just about everywhere I go.
One of my interests in life is gardening, and I look forward to summers because of this. The best part about teaching was having the summers off to enjoy my hobby.
My backyard isn’t big, but I do have enough room for just about everything I need, including tomatoes. After morning coffee, I like to slip on my Muck daily shoes and check on my progress. It’s really a thrill for me to watch all my plants grow. Keeping track of my children is my biggest joy of course, but since they are not here with me, this will suffice.
My neighbor Tracy bought me these Muck Boot shoes that were specifically made for walking on top of fertilizer, trouncing through the mud, and staying put when walking on wet surfaces. They come in brown so you can’t even tell if they are dirty. It’s one for the ladies.
